Renovation for coucb in Gdynia

The name of the new center at Abrahama 80 might sound official and a little mysterious. But coucb is simply short for “Co u Ciebie?”“How are you?” – and that’s exactly what it’s all about.

It’s a space created for young people – a place where you can simply come by, sit down, and talk. No pressure, no judgment, no need to “handle things” on your own. Support is available free of charge, anonymously, and without parental consent for anyone up to 25 years old.

In times when many people turn to ChatGPT instead of talking to another human being, coucb offers something truly essential – themselves and their time. A genuine “How are you?” asked by someone who is really listening.

As a foundation, we support local initiatives that make a real difference. So when we heard about the opening of coucb in Gdynia, we knew we wanted to contribute.

Our invaluable volunteer Andrzej renovated the bathroom and kitchen at the center in just 10 days. Plastering, painting, plumbing, tiling, installation – everything was done with precision, dedication, and with young people in mind, so that these spaces could truly serve them.

Behind the yellow, hidden doors now awaits a kitchen with warm yellow accents – a bit like stepping into your own Narnia, only instead of snow you’ll find tea.

We’re proud to have supported this project – and we hope it will create the right conditions for young people to talk, be themselves, and simply relax.

And we know this is not the end – Andrzej already has another renovation in the works.
